Whiteport: A Decade of Construction ExcellenceJanuary 14, 2019
In 2009, Engr. Danilo D. Tamayo along with his daughter Engr. Andrea Marie T. Ulep founded Whiteport Inc. as a fit-out works contractor specializing in complex and prestigious aesthetics design and interiors. Ten years later, the company continues to grow as the industry of renovation works and general building construction expands. Whiteport is now a Triple AAA general contractor and an ISO-accredited company by TUV Rhineland—testaments to its commitment to excellence and leadership.
To commemorate this landmark anniversary, the company held a simple event on January 14 attended by managers of the DDT Group of Companies as well as the Tamayo and Ulep families. A special video was shown about the accomplishments of Whiteport in the past decade, through an interview with Engr. Ulep who was the former general manager and now president of DataLand Inc. She looked back on the fateful first big break of the company and its continued success as a preferred contractor especially for out-of-town locations and projects.
Whiteport’s current general manager, Engr. Edimar L. Ulep, expounded on how the company’s mall projects have become the standard in the industry, enabling it to grow exponentially in the past ten years. Employees who have been with Whiteport since year one also shared their personal and professional stories and how the Tamayo and Ulep families helped and inspired them to excel on the job.
All these stories are proof of how Whiteport has made a big mark in the industry with its ten years of existence—undoubtedly paving the way for another exciting decade and many more years to come.
